Gem Wallet Adds Swaps on Stable: USDT0 Across Chains and STABLE via Uniswap

Gem Wallet Adds Swaps on Stable: USDT0 Across Chains and STABLE via Uniswap

Starting October 19, 2026, with version 2.114.74, Gem Wallet swaps tokens on the Stable network on iOS and Android. You can now move USDT0 from Stable to BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, and other networks and back, and swap USDT0 for STABLE right in the wallet - with no bridges and no third-party apps.

Gem Wallet Adds Swaps on Stable

Swaps on the Stable network run through two providers, each covering its own task:

  • Cross-Chain via Bridgers: USDT0 moves from Stable to BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Avalanche, and other networks, and assets on those networks come back to Stable the same way.
  • On-Chain via Uniswap: A Uniswap v3 pool inside the network swaps USDT0 for STABLE and back.

Until now, USDT0 on Stable could be stored and sent, and now it can be swapped as well. You hold BNB on BNB Chain, but the recipient expects USDT0 on Stable - pick the pair in the swap screen, and Gem Wallet shows the rate and the fee before you confirm. We keep expanding routes for our users so stablecoins move freely to whichever network suits you best.

What Is Stable?

Stable is a Layer 1 blockchain for stablecoin payments that launched in December 2025, and its network fee is paid in USDT0, so no separate gas token is needed. The network is Ethereum-compatible, its blocks arrive in under a second, and your Stable address is the same 0x address you use on other EVM networks.

USDT0 is a version of the USDT stablecoin built to work across many networks, and on Stable it is both the network’s native coin and a regular token. STABLE is the network’s staking token: holders delegate it to the validators that confirm Stable blocks.

How to Swap USDT0 on Stable in Gem Wallet

  1. Open Gem Wallet, select USDT0 on the Stable network, and tap Swap
  2. Choose the asset you want to receive - for example, STABLE
  3. Enter the USDT0 amount
  4. Open the provider in the swap details - the list shows Uniswap and the rate it gives for your USDT0

Important: The Stable network fee for a swap is charged in USDT0, so keep a little USDT0 on your balance - even when you swap STABLE.

Benefits of Swaps on Stable for Gem Wallet Users

Gem Wallet is a mobile self-custody wallet with 100% open-source code for iOS and Android, where you can securely store, swap, and stake crypto, and buy it with a credit card right in the wallet. Here is what swaps on Stable give our users:

  • Fees in a Stablecoin: Gas on Stable is charged in USDT0, so you swap and pay the fee with the same stablecoin.
  • Fee Reserve: When you swap your entire USDT0 balance, the wallet automatically keeps 0.01 USDT0 so your next transaction still has gas.
  • One Address Across EVM Networks: USDT0 from Stable arrives at the same 0x address on Arbitrum, Base, and other networks, so there is no new address to copy.
  • Built-in DEX Aggregator: Swap STABLE for USDT0 and USDT0 for assets on other networks in one screen - Gem Wallet picks the route and shows the best rate, and you can also choose a provider yourself.
  • Simple and Clear Interface: Swaps and every other wallet feature are equally easy for beginners and experienced crypto enthusiasts - pick a pair, enter an amount, and confirm.
