Starting September 4, 2026, from version 2.114.12, Gem Wallet adds Scan and Receive Switcher. Our users can now scan someone else's QR code and show their own on one screen - paying and receiving take just a couple of taps.

## What Is Scan and Receive Switcher?

Scan and Receive Switcher is a toggle in the Gem Wallet scanner: the Scan tab reads a QR code, and the Receive tab shows the QR code of your address for the selected asset. The switcher works with every asset across all 100+ networks in Gem Wallet.
