Gem Wallet is happy to share: since October 19, starting with version 2.114.74, you can swap TON tokens directly in DeDust pools - one of the leading DEXs on the network, on iOS and Android. Every new provider is one more source of rates for our users, and on TON that source is now the on-chain pools themselves.
Gem Wallet Adds DeDust on TON
Now, when you swap tokens on TON (The Open Network), Gem Wallet requests the rate directly from DeDust smart contracts through network nodes and sends the swap straight to the pool. Swaps of Jettons (tokens on the TON network) used to run through STON.fi, Relay, and other providers, and now DeDust pools have joined them.
You hold Gram (prev. Toncoin) and need USDT on TON - Gem Wallet compares the DeDust rate with STON.fi and other providers and shows the best one, and you can always pick the provider yourself. If two tokens have no direct pool, Gem Wallet builds a route through Gram or USDT, whichever pays more, and completes the swap in one transaction.
We connect on-chain pools for one goal - so that every swap on TON gets the best rate and depends less on third-party servers.
What Is DeDust?
DeDust is a DEX on TON with its own liquidity pools: a swap goes through the pool’s smart contract, with no middleman between you and the liquidity. DeDust has processed $3.26 billion in swaps over its lifetime (according to DefiLlama, October 2026), and its pools trade Gram, USDT, and popular network Jettons.
How to Swap USDT via DeDust DEX Provider in Gem Wallet
- Open Gem Wallet, select USDT on TON, and tap Swap
- Choose the asset you want to receive - for example, Gram
- Enter the USDT amount
- Open the provider in the swap details - the list shows DeDust and the rate of each provider
Important: The TON network fee for a swap is paid in the native token, so keep a small amount of Gram on your balance.
Benefits for Gem Wallet Users
Gem Wallet is a mobile self-custody wallet with 100% open-source code for iOS and Android, where people store, swap, stake, and buy crypto across 100+ networks. Swaps run through trusted DEX providers and pools on the blockchain itself, and the fee is visible before you confirm:
- Full Self-Custody: Your private keys stay only on your device - DeDust provides the pool and the rate, while Gem Wallet itself signs and sends the transaction.
- Fully Open-Source Code: The wallet’s code is 100% open and passed a CertiK audit in April 2026 - anyone can check how the app builds a swap through DeDust.
- Privacy by Default: No email, phone number, or ID - no personal data is collected, and a DeDust pool needs neither an account nor ID checks.
- Built-in DEX Aggregator: Swap TON Jettons through DeDust, STON.fi, Relay, and other providers: the app compares quotes and picks the best rate.
- Top Up Your Gram Balance: Buy Gram right in the wallet - with a credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay in 170+ countries: Gram pays the fee for every swap on TON.
Resources for Developers
Besides DeDust, Gem Wallet routes swaps on TON through other DEX providers: STON.fi, Relay, Swaps.xyz, and others.
The code behind the feature is fully open, and anyone can read it line by line:
